As you know, when you want to learn how to organise jewellery, or anything else for that matter, the first thing is checking what you have and if there is anything you don’t like/want to keep.
How much do you have?
To organise jewellery, you need to know how much you have and what type of jewellery is your thing. Let’s pull them apart between minimalist jewellery and maximalist jewellery collections. There is no judgment, but we need to look at what we have.
Best way to organise jewellery if you are a minimalist
I only have jewellery I love, and very little. This is one area Marie Kondo is right about, and I agree. Keep only jewellery you either love or pass it on. If you have very few items, you can get away with one or two boxes or a stand that holds your necklaces, bracelets and earrings. I have 2 pairs of earrings, so keeping them in a small box works fine. There are a few more statement necklaces.

If you have a lot of jewellery, you need tools to organise it, and there are plenty of easy ways to do it. Think about what works in your space based on the volume of jewellery you need to organise.

If you want to organise your jewellery you need to be aware of a few tools of the trade.

You can hang this on the back of the door, and it is easy to see what you have at a glance. This is also a great option, as you can put larger earrings, bracelets and necklaces all in one spot.

Jewellery stands can be amazing for holding necklaces and bracelets. Plus, they provide an easy way to see your whole earring collection (including the little stud ones). For the earrings, you need to put in the effort to place them on the stand.
These stands can enhance your wardrobe or a nightstand so have fun with them.
Finding the right stand for you and your budget might require a bit of searching online or in the shops.
Organise Jewellery - idea 3. Jewellery Trays
Jewellery trays can be an amazing way to simply store jewellery; you could even have different trays for different sub-groupings, for example, everyday jewellery and party jewellery.
Trays are good if you have drawers or flat organising space (a shallow shelf). What I found over time and several moves is that in some houses you might opt for a stand. In another, a tray works better – often it has to do with the organising of your closet, including the shelves and stands you are given or have put into this space.
